This National Trust property is home to Lord Thomas Anson, the Earl of Lichfield. Our launch site for more than 20 years, Shugborough Hall will always have a special place in our heart and soul. Derbyshire and the Peak District is one of the most beautiful parts of England. Our launch sites include Rowsley (close to Chatsworth House) and Tissington Hall, which is south of Buxton and north of Ashbourne. Both venues are within the National Park. In Warwickshire and Gloucestershire we have four launch sites. These are at Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Moreton-in-Marsh, Evesham (which is actually just over the border into Worcestershire!). Fly in the 'Heart of England' from these great venues! Up in Cheshire and Shropshire we have three launch venues. At Chester we fly from the 'Crocky Trail', whilst at Nantwich we take off from 'Stapeley Water Gardens'. Our final venue is at 'Dearnford Lake', just to the south of Whitchurch. In Worcestershire we have flights departing from Worcester Race Course (in the centre of Worcester), Norton Hall Hotel and Crown Meadow at Evesham, and Eastnor Castle which is on the Herefordshire side of the Malvern Hills, close to Ledbury. Our venues are carefully selected to give a fabulous backdrop to each launch we make. We only employ fully qualified commercial pilots with more than 1000 flying hours each. There's no substitute for experience! We remember that the reputation of our business rides on every flight we make. Our flights are AT LEAST one hour in duration - and usually closer to an hour and a half. Most balloon companies advertise flights of "about an hour". Not us! Ours are guaranteed to be AT LEAST one hour, which could mean an extra 25% duration over some of our competitor's flights! We'll beat anybody on price by £5 per passenger - just call if you can find a flight for less. Our price guarantee is simple. Find an equivalent flight for less within 50 miles, and we'll beat the price by a fiver per passenger! We monitor prices carefully, and know that we offer the best value. Our company is a Civil Aviation Authority certified operation, established for 20 years. Wickers World was one of the first UK balloon companies to be granted an Air Operators Certificate. We are now audited annually by the CAA to ensure standards are consistenly high.
